Minnesota Congressional District 8 Poll
On behalf of American Action Network
September 3-5, 2015
As you may have heard, the United States and five other countries have negotiated an agreement with Iran which restricts, but does not end, Iran’s nuclear program in exchange for lifting some of the economic sanctions that have been placed on Iran by the international community. The following few questions involve the Iran nuclear agreement.
Q: Based on what you have heard about the nuclear agreement with Iran, do you favor or oppose the deal?
Q: Part of the agreement involves U.N. inspections of Iran’s nuclear sites, to confirm that Iran is not enriching enough uranium to develop a nuclear weapon. However, through a secret agreement with the U.N. International Atomic Energy Agency, Iran will be allowed to use its own experts to inspect a site allegedly used to develop nuclear weapons. Does this information make you more likely or less likely to favor the Iran nuclear agreement?
Q: How important is a candidate’s position on the nuclear agreement with Iran in determining your vote for Congress next year?
Q: Do you trust Iran to comply with the terms of the agreement?
The sample size for the survey is 405 likely voters in Minnesota Congressional District 8 and the margin of error is +/-4.93%. Reponses were gathered through live-operator interviews to cell phones and land lines. The survey was conducted September 3-5, 2015 by Harper Polling on behalf of American Action Network. The total percentages for responses may not equal 100% due to rounding.
